The family villa stands on a south-west-facing plot on Péterhegy. We sited it so that every living space (the living room, dining room, bedrooms and children's rooms) opens towards the garden to the south-west. The rooms on the two residential levels are tied together by the double-height space of the living room. The living–dining–kitchen area, the parents' bedroom and a guest room are on the ground floor, and the children's rooms are upstairs. The living and dining rooms connect to the garden through a large covered terrace, and all three children's rooms open onto a large terrace on the upper floor. A double-height covered-open space on the street side marks the entrance, and the recessed volume gives shelter in front of the front door. The internal layout avoids every unnecessary space and creates a comfortable, homely environment for the family. The house is energy-efficient with low energy consumption, and its heating is provided by a heat pump.
