Family house remodelling Budapest, District II 2015
Built in 1979, the building receives a new, contemporary yet timeless appearance through the use of present-day architectural means. The environmentally conscious design has a compact massing, which is a beneficial passive architectural tool for achieving a low-energy building. The existing structures that remain are given retrofit thermal insulation. We removed the existing roof structure and designed a new attic level in its place.
